Our Story
Beats of Fulshear was founded by Ekpenyong Otu — known professionally as DJ Mixmaster Brown — a veteran DJ, photographer, project manager, computer tech, website developer and media producer with over 30 years of experience.
Beats of Fulshear is a community-focused platform created to spotlight the people, stories, and moments that make Fulshear feel like home. From local happenings and community conversations to uplifting stories and shared experiences, we’re here to keep residents informed and connected.
We believe strong communities are built when people feel heard, informed, and involved. By creating space for local voices and positive engagement, Beats of Fulshear helps foster connection, understanding, and pride in the place we call home.
